Meet Desiree Ong, alumni of our UX Design bootcamp.

I really enjoyed Vertical Institute’s user experience bootcamp as I not only gained deeper insights into the user experience design process but also got a peek into the local UX industry through the firsthand career experiences of our class instructor, Zack Chia.

Can you share with me more about your experience and achievements in UX Design?

Zack was a very helpful and patient instructor, and he was able to engage and inspire his students who came from different career phases. He was also very approachable and would make the effort to simplify his explanation to meet each student’s level of understanding. The overall curriculum was well-planned with most of the learning content and materials organised in a very orderly manner that was easy to understand.

Having access to online notes and lesson summaries after every class also made the learning a little easier to digest! As a graphic designer venturing into UX, I feel empowered with the new knowledge that I’ve learnt from this bootcamp and I am excited to continue learning more in my UX design journey.
