Course Overview

Why Should HR Professionals Learn AI?

HR teams are being asked to do more strategic work with the same headcount, and much of the routine writing, admin, and reporting can now be drafted with AI. Globally, 86% of employers expect AI to transform their business by 2030. In Singapore, more than four in five workers already use AI at work, yet only about one in three has had any AI training in the past year.

Sources: World Economic Forum, IMDA

This course shows you how to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini for that HR work safely. You practise writing prompts for HR tasks, build a simple AI assistant for a task you repeat, and learn what employee data should never go into an AI tool.

Where Can AI Help in Everyday HR Work?

These are common HR tasks you can apply the course’s techniques to, and the lesson where you learn each technique.

Lesson 4: AI-assisted research.
Data protection and fairness
Keep employee personal data out of prompts, follow the PDPA, and identify risky or biased uses of AI.
Lesson 7: Security, ethical and legal considerations.

Important: Every AI draft still needs your review. Check its accuracy, fairness and suitability before sharing it with employees or candidates.
