Yes, especially if you’re looking for targeted, practical skills. This 21-hour short course is tightly focused, allowing you to gain essential knowledge without unnecessary theory. You’ll learn directly from industry experts, apply skills through hands-on activities, and walk away with tools you can use immediately, without spending months in training.
Do I need any technical background to join?
Not at all. The course starts from the basics and guides you step by step. Many of our learners come from non-tech backgrounds and succeed with the help of clear explanations, hands-on activities, and expert support.
What is the class duration and format of the course?
The course runs for a total of 21 hours, delivered over 7 sessions. Each session lasts 3 hours and is conducted live via Zoom. You’ll learn in an interactive online setting with direct guidance from an instructor and support from a teaching assistant.
Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?
Yes. You’ll receive a recognised professional certificate upon completion. Many of our graduates add it to their LinkedIn profiles to boost credibility and show potential employers they’ve built relevant cyber security skills.
What other subsidies are available for this course aside from SkillsFuture Credit?
In addition to SkillsFuture Credit, eligible learners may benefit from the following government subsidies:
- IBF Subsidy
- 70% subsidy for Singaporeans aged 40 and above
- 50% subsidy for Singaporeans below 40
- 50% subsidy for Permanent Residents
- UTAP (Union Training Assistance Programme)
NTUC members can claim up to 50% of the remaining fees (capped at $500 per year). - Absentee Payroll Support
