UX Design Course FAQs
What is UX Design?
– International Business Times, 15 June 2022
Ever found checking out your online shopping cart a pleasant and smooth process? Or perhaps you enjoy scrolling through Instagram because of how aesthetic, interactive, and easy-to-use their interface is. This is all attributed to the work of UX designers.
User Experience design is the essential process of designing digital products with the sole purpose of providing end-users with a meaningful experience. It covers all aspects including research, design, usability, accessibility, function, and branding.
Although UX design is a relatively new field, it is gaining popularity because the market has become increasingly customer-oriented. This is why the demand for UX designers has seen rapid growth as well.

Why are UX design skills relevant today?
With a huge shortage of tech talent in Singapore, UX design skills are not only highly sought after by top employers, but also by any business that has an online presence. Besides excellent career prospects and opportunities, UX design is an exciting field with plenty of room to exercise your creative and analytical skills.
The synergy between creativity and logic in UX design allows you to develop both soft and hard skills from critical thinking to coding and prototyping.
Break into the UX industry with the beginner-friendly UX Design Course by Vertical Institute. The course allocates 3-4 instructional team members per class to ensure dedicated peer and mentor support for your UX Design journey. You will graduate with an IBF-accredited UX certification, as well as a polished, portfolio-ready project to showcase your arsenal of UX design skills.
