Meet Ruby, alumni of our Digital Marketing course.

Hi my name is Ruby, so previously I was working in an American company as a web merchandise analyst but I got a job offer as a marketing executive last year. And, that’s the moment where I realised I needed a more systematic system to learn more about marketing.

What makes you decide to join our digital marketing course?

In my previous job, I was hired as a marketing executive but I actually did not pursue any degree in business and marketing. I learned all my knowledge related to marketing or e-commerce from my job. But that’s also the moment where I realised I need a more thorough understanding of marketing, so that’s why I decided to take the course.

How has attending the Digital Marketing Course helped you in your career?

It is very easy to approach the concepts because the tutor was giving a lot of examples that are related to real-life. I think that really help me learn really fast and I wouldn’t find it to boring because the schedule is actually in evening and I might get tired from work, so spending another 3 hours to study after work is not easy but cause of these examples and also the stories that the tutor shares are really related to the real-life that makes it very approachable and easy to understand.

Who would you recommend this Digital Marketing Course to?

I think what helps at least for myself it boost my confidence, like for me I didn’t really have like a thorough background in marketing but then this course would at least help me understand what a big picture marketing can be. So I think this is what I was looking for and its really good enough for me to continue performing in my job duties, I think that’s what matters the most to me.

Any advice for those looking to enter the Digital Marketing field?

Yeah sure I will because I enjoyed the course a lot myself and I would recommend to people who are actually like me, who didn’t really have marketing background or they didn’t actually pursue degree in business or marketing but they actually need a similar concepts and knowledge at work so they can actually take a course like Vertical Institute course to help them understand better or people who actually want to start business in social media or digital marketing. I think this is a really good starting point for them.
