Background
This project examines cybersecurity challenges encountered by digital banks in Singapore, with a focus on the fictional Vertical Bank as a case study. It explores real-world threats and, as part of the Vertical Institute Cybersecurity Bootcamp, simulates the responsibilities of a security analyst in identifying vulnerabilities and formulating risk mitigation strategies.
The goal of this project is to identify cybersecurity threats affecting digital banking in Singapore and recommend solutions to reduce those risks. It focuses on developing a basic framework for incident response, data protection, and user authentication using real-world scenarios, with the aim of improving security awareness and digital trust.
