What Is the SkillsFuture AI Subscription and Who Is Eligible?
The SkillsFuture AI Subscription connects AI training with continued access to premium AI tools. More than 200 AI-related training courses launched with the SkillsFuture AI subscription initiative on 16 September 2026.

The SkillsFuture AI Subscription forms part of the National AI Impact Programme.
MySkillsFuture presents the programme as a three-step AI learning pathway:

- Explore courses suited to your AI readiness level.
- Attend an eligible course and receive a free six-month AI subscription.
The aim is to extend learning beyond the course itself.

Five premium AI subscription options are currently available. Each eligible person can redeem only one, regardless of how many qualifying courses they attend.
Who Is Eligible for the Free AI Subscription?
You must meet several requirements before you can redeem the free AI subscription.

How Do You Redeem Your Free 6-Month AI Subscription?
Once you have attended an eligible course, you can begin the redemption process for your free AI subscription.
Step 1: Attend and Complete an Eligible AI Course
You must attend and successfully complete an AI course carrying the “Free AI subscription” label on MySkillsFuture. Courses that ended before 16 September 2026 do not qualify for the initiative.
Step 2: Receive Your Redemption Email
After attending an eligible course, you will receive an email with instructions for claiming your subscription. The email includes a request form where you can select your preferred AI subscription.
Step 3: Choose Your Preferred AI Subscription
Select one of the five available AI tool subscription options and submit your request form. Take some time to compare your options before deciding. You cannot change your selected AI subscription after submitting the form.
You can also redeem only one free subscription, regardless of how many eligible courses you attend.
Step 4: Activate Your Subscription
If your request is successful, you will receive another email with instructions for activating your selected subscription. Make sure you submit the request form within 60 days from the date of your notification email.

UTAP claims share the existing annual cap of $250, or $500 for members aged 40 and above.
As of September 2026, Vertical Institute courses are not currently eligible for the SkillsFuture AI Subscription. Some VI courses qualify for UTAP support on approved AI tool subscriptions instead. These include the Generative AI Course, Generative AI Workflow Automation Course, and Data Science & AI Course. Eligible NTUC members may claim 50% of approved subscription costs, subject to UTAP requirements and annual caps.
