In many cases, learners pay little or no cash after subsidies. 

For the online Generative AI course, learners may qualify for either SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding or the IBF Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS), both offering up to 70% course fee funding. Additional support includes SkillsFuture Credit for Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above, NTUC UTAP which covers 50% of unfunded fees capped at S$500 per year, and PSEA for eligible learners aged 21 to 31.

For the in-person Generative AI course, learners may qualify for SSG funding of up to 70% course fee funding, along with SkillsFuture Credit and PSEA. UTAP is not applicable for in-person classes.

Funding approval is subject to eligibility criteria set by the relevant authorities. Vertical Institute does not guarantee funding approval and is not liable for rejections, delays, or clawbacks.

An administrative fee of $15 applies to all approved withdrawals.

If you do not attend without prior notice:

• No refund will be given

You will be liable for the full course fee (including any funding clawback)

You may:

• Attend a makeup class (subject to availability), or

• Watch the recorded session
  

However, attendance is only counted if you attend the makeup session.

Yes, subject to the following:

• Must be requested at least 14 days before course start

• Maximum of 3 reschedules allowed

Fees:

• 1st reschedule: Free

• 2nd & 3rd reschedule: 5% of full course fee each (non-waivable)

• $15 administrative fee applies

No rescheduling is allowed after the course has started.

Yes. For the online Generative AI course, you can combine SkillsFuture Credit and UTAP to further reduce your out-of-pocket costs. UTAP must be applied after SkillsFuture Credit has been applied. UTAP claims are submitted after course completion via the NTUC portal.

To qualify for SSG funding, you must be at least 21 years old, a Singapore Citizen or PR, achieve at least 75% attendance (minimum 6 out of 7 lessons), and pass the final assessment. Visit the SkillsFuture Singapore website for the full eligibility criteria.

To meet SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) requirements and qualify for government funding, you must attend at least 75% of lessons (minimum 6 out of 7 classes), complete all required assessments and receive a “Competent” grade, submit any required capstone project work, and complete course feedback surveys. Failure to meet these requirements means you will not receive your certificate, may lose funding eligibility, and may be required to pay the full unsubsidised course fee.

Enhanced Training Support for SMEs

SMEs that meet all of the following eligibility criteria:

1. Registered or incorporated in Singapore
2. Employment size of not more than 200 or with annual sales turnover of not more than $100 million

SME-sponsored Trainees:

1. Must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
2. Courses have to be fully paid for by the employer.
3. Trainee is not a full-time national serviceman.
