Suno is among the 21 AI tools approved for UTAP subscription support under the AI-Ready SG initiative. For content creators, marketers, educators, and media professionals in Singapore who use or plan to use AI-generated music in their work, part of the subscription cost can be offset through UTAP, once the qualifying steps are completed.

The starting point is finishing a UTAP-approved AI course. Vertical Institute’s Generative AI (Level 1) course meets that requirement, and completing it gives NTUC members access to two claims within a shared annual cap:

UTAP support on your course fee – Government subsidies are applied to the course fee first. NTUC members then file a UTAP claim for 50% support on the remaining amount. The cap is $500 for members aged 40 and above and $250 for those under 40.

UTAP support on your Suno AI subscription – Within one year of completing the course, members can subscribe to Suno and submit a UTAP claim for 50% support on the subscription cost. The subscription must start between 1 May 2026 and 30 April 2028, and the claim must be filed within 6 months of the subscription start date.

Confirm that Suno remains on NTUC’s approved tool list at the time of subscription, as the list is subject to periodic review. The subscription is for personal use only and must be declared as such when filing the claim. Submissions outside the 6-month window will not be considered under any circumstances.

Course fee refunds follow a tiered schedule based on withdrawal timing: full refund for withdrawals more than 14 days before the course starts, 50% for 7 to 14 days prior, and no refund within 7 days or once the course has commenced.
