Background
Through the research and user interviews conducted, I found that many Singaporean youth either do not track their expenses or do not use mobile apps to do so, citing intimidation of facing their spending habits and the lack of a suitable app for their needs. This is despite rising costs of living and an increasingly volatile economy. Therefore, I sought to create a UX-friendly application that motivates users to manage their personal finances.
The goal is to design a UX-friendly mobile application that encourages users to manage their expense tracking and plan for the future. By focusing on intuitive navigation and supportive feedback, the app aims to reduce the mental barrier and anxiety associated with financial monitoring, ultimately helping young adults build sustainable and healthy long-term financial habits.
