Basic knowledge of Python and data analytics is helpful but not required. If you’re new to these areas, you can first enrol in Vertical Institute’s Data Science and AI course to build a strong foundation before taking this advanced class.
What is the format, and how long does it take to complete the course?
In-person classes are also available for selected programs at the Vertical Institute Campus, located at the Lifelong Learning Institute. You can access the campus via Lift Lobby B to Level 3. Connect with our team to find out if this option is available for your course.

Can I use my SkillsFuture Credit or other subsidies?
Yes. You can use your SkillsFuture Credit to offset the course fees. If you’re a Singaporean or Permanent Resident, you’ll also automatically receive up to 70% SSG subsidy upon checkout. On top of that, you can tap other funding sources, such as IBF funding and UTAP, to further reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
What are the course completion requirements for Vertical Institute’s courses?
To meet SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) course completion requirements, you must maintain at least 75% attendance and achieve a ‘Competent’ grade in all required assessments or capstone projects stated in the course outline.
You’ll also need to complete the course feedback survey and fulfil any additional requirements specific to WSQ qualifications.
What are Vertical Institute's Refund Policy and Withdrawal Policy?
Refund Policy: The initial $100 deposit and any course fees paid are strictly non-refundable.
The only event in which we will refund your $100 deposit is if you are using SkillsFuture
Credits to pay for the remaining course fees after funding support.
Withdrawal Policy: If you drop out of a course halfway / fail to meet the minimum attendance
requirements / fail to submit and pass the assessment, IBF will not subsidise your course
fees, and you will be liable for the full course fee amount. Vertical Institute reserves the right
to claw back the funded amount from the trainee if he/she did not fulfil the eligibility criteria.
Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?
Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a certificate accredited and recognised in Singapore. You can share it on LinkedIn to showcase your achievement. The certificate validates your advanced machine learning skills and strengthens your professional portfolio for data and AI-related roles.
