A non-refundable registration fee of $10.90, inclusive of GST, is payable upon enrolment, in addition to the course fee. To sign up, apply directly through Vertical Institute’s course page.

What is Vertical Institute's refund policy?

Withdrawals made more than 14 days before the course start date receive a 100% refund, excluding the registration fee. Withdrawals made 7 to 14 days before the start date receive a 50% refund. No refund is given for withdrawals made less than 7 days before the course starts or after it has commenced. An administrative fee of $15 applies to all approved withdrawals.

What is the attendance requirement for this course?

Learners must attend at least 75% of the courseand achieve a Competent grade in all assessments to meet SkillsFuture Singapore’s completion requirements.

How much subsidy can I get for this course?

Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above can receive up to 70% subsidy, while Singapore Citizens below 40 and Permanent Residents can receive up to 50% subsidy on the course fee. You can also use SkillsFuture Credit, PSEA, and UTAP support to further offset your out-of-pocket costs.

What is the 50% subsidy on AI tools?

From May 2026, NTUC expanded UTAP to cover AI tool subscriptions in addition to course fees, as part of its AI-Ready SG initiative. NTUC members who complete a UTAP-approved AI course can claim 50% back on subscriptions to approved AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot and more. The subsidy is available for subscriptions taken up between 1 May 2026 and 30 April 2028.
